Seattle PrideFest needed a short, animated trailer for their new Pride week event, the Twist of Pride Film Festival. They desired a flat, simple style, using design cues and the theme from their 2016 PrideFest marketing: To Equality and Beyond. We created the video in After Effects and Premiere Pro using custom illustrations. We supplied the video without sound, which Seattle PrideFest then added later. Extra time was added to the end so that Seattle PrideFest could add their own logo bumps.

In an effort to activate the Fisher Pavilion space at Seattle Center during Prid
efest, Jetspace Studio was tapped to organize and produce a first: a 2-day queer geek and gaming convention. That meant filling up nearly 14,000 sq ft of exhibition space for 2 days, so we planned accordingly. We brought in sponsors like MoPOP, Best Buy, and Living Computers Museum, as well as dozens of smaller retailers, independent sellers, and community groups for the attendees to enjoy. There were free to play consoles and classic arcade games to play, and a dozen gaming tables where people could try out their newest favorites from a free game library. We arranged some great panels and cosplay contests, as well. The first year was so popular, drawing more than 25,000 attendees, we even did it all again.
